Outdoor theatre at Furzey Gardens
Step into a season of stories, laughter, and live performance in the heart of the New Forest.

This summer, Furzey Gardens transforms once again into an open-air stage, nestled among blooms and ancient trees.

From iconic Shakespeare to playful comedy and brilliantly tangled mix-ups, this summer’s line-up is bursting with energy, laughter and larger-than-life characters.

Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and prepare for magical evenings under the sky.

Picky tea on the lawn?

This year we are trying something a bit different!

We are inviting our audience to come and enjoy your picnic in the gardens from 5.30pm.

We recommend arriving early to enjoy a picnic in the gardens before the performance begins. This gives you plenty of time to relax before the show and helps minimise noise from food and drink packaging once the performance is underway. You’re welcome to continue your picnic throughout the evening if you wish, but we kindly ask that noise is kept to a minimum during the performance.

Please bring your own seating, along with a small picnic table or picnic rug where possible, rather than larger tables or picnic setups, so that everyone has space and the best possible view of the performance.
